Types of Certificates

  • Certificate of Good Standing
    • This certificate proves the live existence of a company registered in Singapore and bears the electronic signature of ACRA's Assistant Registrar. This is available for live companies only.
  • Certificate Confirming Registration / Incorporation of Entity
    • This certificate shows that an entity is registered in Singapore.
  • Certificate Confirming Registration of Charge
    • This certificate certifies that a charge is made after the charge number is generated.
  • Certificate of Conversion
    • This certificate certifies the conversion of entity type: Business to Limited Liability Partnerships | Company to Limited Liability Partnerships.
  • Certificate of Conversion (Company to 5 types)

    • This certificate certifies that the company has been converted from and to the following company type: Limited company to Unlimited company | Private company limited by shares to Public company limited by shares | Public company limited by shares to Private company limited by shares | Unlimited company to Company limited by guarantee | Unlimited company to Company limited by shares.

  • Certificate of Confirming Approval To Hold Land Under Section 23(5)
    • This certificate certifies the successful lodgement of an Application to Hold Land under Section 23(2).
  • Certificate Under Section 26(7) Companies Act - Confirmation of Incorporation In Accordance With Alteration of Constitution
    • This certificate certifies that the company is incorporated in accordance with the alteration made to the constitution.
    • Note that the company must first lodge the "Notice of Resolution - Alteration of Constitution Under S26(2)" before this certificate is available for purchase by the company.
  • Certificate Under Section 61(7) - Confirming Company Is Entitled To Commence Business And Exercise Its Borrowing Powers.
    • This certificate certifies that the company is entitled to commence business and to exercise its borrowing powers.
    • Note that the company must first lodge the "Notice of Compliance By Company That Has Not Issued Prospectus" before this certificate is available for purchase by the company.
  • Certificate of Confirmation of Amalgamation
    • This certificate certifies that a company is amalgamated.
  • Certificate Confirming Registration By Transfer of Company
    • This certificate shows that an entity is registered in Singapore after transferred its registration from another country.

Types of Registers

  • Register of Business / Company Documents
    • This electronic report provides a chronological list of approved transactions made by a business or company since registration. It includes the dates and descriptions of lodgements such as Annual Returns, Memorandum & Articles of Association, Change of Company Directors, etc.
  • Register of Members (ROM)
    • With effect from 03 Jan 2016, the Registrar shall, in respect of every private company, keep and maintain an electronic register of members (EROM) of that company containing such information notified to the Registrar on or after that date. Any entry in the EROM is prima facie evidence of the truth of any matters which are by the Act directed or authorised to be entered or inserted into the EROM. A private company is required to notify the Registrar of the information to be entered in the EROM. Therefore, please note that until the company provides complete information to the Registrar, its EROM may not contain any information or may only contain partial information. Please approach the company directly if you wish to have access to its existing register of members and the historical information kept in it.
    • This electronic report displays the members linked to a non-gazetted exempt private company incorporated under Companies Act. Details such as member name, shareholder information, date of allotment, type of share, etc are included.
    • For gazetted exempt private companies, only the Directors / Chief Executive Officer / Secretary / Auditor / Members are allowed access to the ROM.
  • Register of Directors (ROD)
    • This electronic report displays the directors linked to a company. Details such as director name, date of appointment, date of cessation are included. This is available for all companies.
  • Register of Secretaries (ROS)
    • This electronic report displays the secretaries linked to a company. Details such as secretary name, date of appointment, date of cessation, etc are included. This is available for all companies.
  • Register of Chief Executive Officers (ROCEO)
    • This electronic report displays the CEOs linked to a company. Details such as CEO name, date of appointment, date of cessation, etc are included. This is available for all companies if there is such appointment filed with ACRA.
  • Register of Auditors (ROA)
    • This electronic report displays the auditors linked to a company. Details such as auditor name, date of appointment, date of cessation, etc are included. This is available for all companies.

Sample

Company's officers and its members have free access to all of the company's registers (excluding Register of Business / Company Documents), which would otherwise incur a fee for the purchase of these documents from ACRA iShop.

To be eligible for the fee waiver, you must login to BizFile+using Singpass and purchase these registers from ACRA iShop.
